5 Things Disney+ and Marvel Studios Should Consider to Make Their MCU Content Successful

After the Disney Investor news shared what was coming for Disney+, the internet has gone wild over the content that they’ve been adding. From Falcon and the Winter Soldier to Captain Peggy Carter in Marvel’s What If series, there’s a lot coming. Kevin Feige has also teased that the Disney+’s content will tie heavily into the post Endgame MCU story. This is a significant difference from Marvel Television where the only show that has significantly been impacted by Avengers: Infinity War is Agents of SHIELD, about to go into Season 6.

Disney+ has the potential to deliver an incredible library of content. They’re up against 22 films and multiple television series, however. Here’s five suggestions as to how they can make their MCU content the very best that it can be.

Wanda and Vision Should Stand On Their Own, Then Come Together

One of the shows that Disney introduced, dubbed “WandaVision” will focus on Scarlet Witch and Vision’s relationship. The pair are together in the comics and have two children. Their relationship has been explored in the movies with Wanda retiring to live with Vision in Europe. She sacrificed Vision to try and destroy the final stone in his head, but Thanos rewound time and pulled the stone out of Vision’s head.

It’s extremely suspect that Wanda and Vision are getting television shows. While they’re important to the MCU, they don’t have as large a fanbase as, say, any of the Black Panther characters or Bucky and Steve. Regardless, it’s a great opportunity to develop the characters.

We’ve seen Wanda and Vision as a couple, so they should show who they are as people in order to make us invested in them. Thankfully Jac Shaffer (Captain Marvel, Black Widow) seems to be up to the task.
