While we have no set date yet for when Runaways Season 3 is coming, the first piece of casting news for the upcoming season has been revealed! TV Line broke the news today that Elizabeth Hurley (The Royals) will be appearing in Season 3 as the villainous Morgan le Fay! Here is how Marvel describes the live-action version of the character:
“Morgan le Fay is an iconic Marvel villain. A student of Merlin, she is considered the greatest sorceress of all time. With a black crow as her familiar and the ability to enchant objects, manipulate mystic energy and astral project, she is powerful and intelligent with a cut-throat wit. “
In a statement from Marvel TV president Jeph Loeb, he said the following about Hurley joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Elizabeth Hurley is joining the Marvel Universe and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her portraying one of the most enchanting Marvel characters.”
While fans will have to wait to find out when the new season is coming, Hulu is expanding its Marvel partnership. As previously announced, Hulu is bringing several animated shows in the form of The Offenders as well as preparing live-action Ghost Rider and Helstrom shows for 2020.
