SDCC 2019 – Stan Lee: A Celebration of His Life & Legacy

This year at San Diego Comic Con, there were several panels that honored Stan Lee’s life, legacy, and impact on pop culture today. The legend may be gone, but he still continues to make a difference in the comic world, as well as pop culture in general. Let’s take a look at some of his greatest accomplishments:

Books

Stan Lee has not only written some of the most iconic comic books to date, but he has also written a couple non-comic books, as well as inspired others. Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of the Light was the legend’s first audio original. It deals with an immersive new universe that looks at the complex relationship between science and technology. The Stan Lee Story was written by Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief, and Stan Lee’s best friend, Roy Thomas. With over 1000 imagines, this book offers an in depth insight from someone who was with Stan in the Marvel offices for years. Amazing Fantastic Incredible: A Marvelous Memoir is true Stan Lee fashion. Co-written with Peter David and Colleen Doran, it illustrates his own “origin story” with honesty and humor.
