Christian Bale may be joining a new superhero cinematic universe according to a report from Collider.
Today the outlet reported that Bale is in talks for a role in Thor: Love and Thunder, the upcoming fourth film in the Thor franchise.
The Oscar-winning actor is no stranger to superheroes, having played Batman in three films for Warner Brothers.
Star Chris Hemsworth will return for the film alongside Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman. Taika Waititi also returns as director after helming Thor: Ragnarok.
It was previously announced the film will adapt the storyline of Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman’s The Mighty Thor, where Jane Foster takes on the mantle of Thor.
Marvel has not commented on the story.
