After announcing a delay for the release of Black Widow, Marvel Studios has officially confirmed new release dates for several of its films.
Black Widow will now be released in theatres November 6, 2020, taking Eternals’ original release date.
Black Widow was originally scheduled to be released in May 2020, but was delayed due to widespread theatre closures due to public health concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic.
Eternals has been moved to February 12, 2021, taking Shang Chi’s release date.
Additional release dates include:
- Shang-Chi: the Legend of the Ten Rings: May 7, 2021
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: November 5, 2021
- Thor: Love and Thunder: February 18, 2022
Black Panther 2 is still scheduled for May 6, 2022.
Newly confirmed is Captain Marvel 2‘s release date, which will be July 8, 2022.
Disney’s New Mutants is still without a release date again.
No announcements have been made on how the new Marvel Studio’s schedule will impact the release of Marvel shows scheduled for Disney+
