Oscar Isaac has been announced to be in talks for Moon Knight in the MCU! Moon Knight is one of the characters who is slated to have a Disney+ series as Marvel Studios begin to expand their characters to TV.
Marc Spectrum aka Moon Knight is a Jewish-American ex-Marine turned soldier of fortune that gets stranded in an Egyptian desert where the Egyptian god, Khonshu, saves him and gives him his moon powers. Moon Knight was created by Don Perlin and Doug Moench.
Isaac is famously known for his role as Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. He’s also been in films such as X-Men: Apocalypse, Inside Llyewn Davis, and made the surprise cameo as Spider-Man 2099 in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. There has been no official word from Marvel Studios or Disney as of yet.
Moon Knight joins the list of many Marvel Studios Disney+ series that are currently in the works including She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, and more. Moon Knight is to be helmed by writer Jeremy Slater who will be an executive producer as well as showrunner.
