Well this was unexpected news, but we did get a cast for the upcoming Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur series for Disney Channel. It’s been a good while since we heard anything about this and it’s refreshing to see animation get some mainstream love again. The cast is as follows

Libe Barer as Casey (Lunella’s Best Friend)
Sasheer Zamata as Adria (Lunella’s Mom)
Jermaine Fowler as James Jr. (Lunella’s Dad)
Gary Anthony Williams as Pops (Lunella’s Grandpa)
The story follows Lunella and her Dinosaur that she accidentally brought to the present and the antics that follow as they have to work together to protect their chunk of New York.
