The boys are back in town. That’s right, after appearing individually in Marvel Studios properties Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will both be reprising their respective roles of Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin for the upcoming series Echo according to The Hollywood Reporter.
D’Onofrio already made his Marvel Studios TV debut in Hawkeye. Maya Lopez AKA Echo, played by Alaqua Cox, has history with Wilson Fisk since he ordered the hit on her father.
Although Fisk was left for dead in the finale after being shot by Maya, fans suspected the character may still be alive. It’s also possible Fisk’s presence could come in the form of flashbacks.
Cox most recently appeared as Matt Murdock in a surprise cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the scene, he is never identified as Daredevil though his uncanny reflexes hint at his alter ego.
Echo is currently filming. A release date has not been announced but the series is expected to premiere sometime in 2023.
