House of the Dragon Season 2 Teaser Trailer Released by HBO

House of the Dragon Season 2 is coming. Fans can now get an official first look at the upcoming hotly anticipated second season with a new teaser trailer released by HBO.

The trailer shows the vicious war between the Green and Blacks with the throne of Westeros at stake.

In the trailer you hear Eve Best’s Rhaenys Targaryen ominously state, “There is no war so hateful to the gods as a war between kin. And no war so bloody as a war between dragons.” 

The trailer also includes one more new piece of vital information: House of the Dragon Season 2 will arrive in Summer 2024 (exact month tbd).

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.

The Cast

Season two returning cast: Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. Additional returning cast includes Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.

Season two new cast: Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.

The previously announced new season two cast includes Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, and Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong.

House of the Dragon Season 2 premieres on HBO in Summer 2024.
