DC Studios Heads To New York Comic-Con 2024

DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn took to social media to announce that he will be at this year’s New York Comic-Con, on October 19 to host a panel for DC’s Creature Commandos. Gunn will be joined by Frank Grillo [Rick Flag Sr.], David Harbour [Frankenstein], Zoe Chao [Nina Mazursky], Sean Gunn [G.I. Robot/Weasel], Dean Lorey [Executive Producer], and Steve Agee [John Economos].

Gunn adds: “We’ll fill you in on all the details of our monster army and the seeds of the DCU!”

It is unknown whether or not this means Gunn will speak more of other DC Studios projects, such as Superman debuting on July 11, 2025, or Lanterns, which is casting Hal Jordan now. A second trailer for Creature Commandos would make sense as it is nearing its December 5 premiere date, only on Max.

Previously, fans were theorizing the DC Studios co-CEO would attend because of a ‘thinking’ emoji reply on Threads:
