Marvel Television has released many shows since its creation in 2019. Some of the series released under this banner have been received positively. One of those projects is Daredevil: Born Again.
The second season completed filming in early July. Recent comments from the series star, Charlie Cox, had fans wondering if the second season was going to be the final one. The second season is currently scheduled to be released sometime in March 2026. Those worries can now be laid to rest.
While speaking to IGN, Brad Winderbaum confirmed that the series had been greenlit for season 3. He also revealed that the third season is aiming to begin filming sometime next year. The second season of Born Again is likely going to be inspired by the graphic novel Devil’s Reign. This storyline focused on Kingpin enlisting villains to take down all the heroes living in New York City. Krysten Ritter has already been confirmed to be joining the cast, and Mike Colter has teased his inclusion.
The third season’s story may have already been teased by series producer Brad Winderbaum. While doing the press for Born Again’s first season, he expressed an interest in exploring the ninja assassin organization known as The Hand.
Season one was heavily influenced by Charles Soule and Chip Zdarsky’s comic runs. It would not be surprising if the events of the season lead into The Red Fist Saga, which saw Daredevil and Electra attempt to permanently defeat the Hand led by Frank Castle’s Punisher.
Today’s news should excite Daredevil fans, because the man without fear will be returning to television screens for at least two more seasons.
