Earlier Saturday afternoon, Hayley Atwell tweeted that they would be making a Dubsmash Wars announcement on Sunday. Then, later on Saturday evening, subscribers to the free ticket site 1iota.com were e-mailed about the upcoming appearances of celebrity guests–including Agent of SHIELD’s Clark Gregg. A little further investigation shows that Clark Gregg and Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell will be appearing on Spike’s show Lip Sync Battle during a special Los Angeles taping on Sunday, October 4th. Is this what Ms Atwell was referring to, or is something else coming?

Update: EW has now posted their exclusive article and video with Clark Gregg and Hayley Atwell, releasing a few more details. Both Team Carter and Team SHIELD will release their final videos this Wednesday, October 7th. Voting will end on Friday, October 16th (time yet to be determined).
As of Monday morning, October 5th, Team SHIELD has a nearly $5,000 lead on Team Carter. The two teams combined have just passed $90,000 in total donations for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and Stomp out Bullying.
