Did you live in New York City during Loki’s Chitauri invasion? Did Thor’s hammer accidentally crash through your apartment on the upper east side? Are you suffering from dirt and debris fall out from the dropping of Sokovia in eastern Europe? Look no further because Marvel’s team of “Damage Control” experts have you covered!
Based on Marvel’s comic book of the same name, ABC has ordered a 30 minute comedy called “Damage Control.” “Damage Control” follows a team of superhero clean up crews, tasked with restoring broken buildings, recovering lost weapons and dangerous items, and picking up after any encounter with enemy combatants.
The Wrap is reporting that Ben Karlin (The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, Modern Family) will executive produce the series alongside David Miner (Brooklyn 99) and Jeph Loeb (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter) in partnership with ABC Studios and Marvel Television.
You can catch a glimpse of this kind of weapons trackdown in the Marvel One Shot “Item 47” which shows S.H.I.E.L.D. tracking down a Chitauri weapon being used by a Bonnie and Clyde type couple committing bank heists.
