Madame Masque Clue in Agent Carter S2 Teaser

Earlier this evening, after Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD aired, fans were given their first 30 second look into the second season of Marvel’s Agent Carter. Peggy’s new life in sunny Southern California seems to include spending time at a movie studio (and possibly being in a movie herself!)

As announced at New York Comic Con, we know that the villain for this season will be actress-turned-villainess Whitney Frost, AKA Madame Masque. In the comics, Madame Masque is notoriously known for disguising herself in golden mask, like in the photo above.

Take a look at the name of the movie that was quickly flashed in the Agent Carter Season 2 teaser tonight:

“The Woman with the Golden Face”

Clearly this is what will connect the Hollywood story line this season to the Marvel villain of Madame Masque! How very clever!

This is perhaps just one of many Easter eggs in this teaser which connects to the greater arc of the season.

We will be posting a thorough review of the teaser trailer soon. Until then, watch the trailer again to see what interesting details you pick out! Let us know in the comments if you catch anything else!
