With Finn Jones being cast as Danny Rand a.k.a Iron Fist for the self title character’s Netflix series, Marvel has moved on to filling out the rest of the cast and it is a doozy! Rumored to be in the series are Colleen Wing, Steel Serpent, Joy Meachum and Ward Meachum – all according to a character breakdown list from MCU Exchange courtesy of The Hashtag Show (who originally broke Jones’ casting). This is in addition to Carrie Anne Moss reprising her Jeryn Hogarth character from Jessica Jones and the rumored addition of Shang-Chi.
Let’s dig in shall we? First up – Colleen Wing.
The below sounds right on target for Colleen Wing. Given that Simone Missick will be playing Misty Knight in Luke Cage come September, Wing should be cast very soon. Just think – Wing and Knight on the small screen together? Jump for joy, Marvel fans!
CHRISTINE – 25 – 30 yrs old, female, Asian, New York toughness mixed with a businesswoman savvy, a good heart, but with many secrets. PLEASE NOTE IF TALENT HAS MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING / EXPERIENCE. (Series Regular.)
It should come to no surprise to anyone who watched S1 of Daredevil that Davos aka Steel Serpent may be cast soon. Heavily hinted with the brand of Madame Gao’s heroin named as such – excites this writer especially knowing the history he has with Iron Fist. This sounds likes Davos to me!
DEVON – 25 – 30 yrs old, male, please submit Asian, East Indian, Pacific Islander, etc., handsome, effortlessly-powerful, an intelligent, thoughtful warrior.

The next to last casting call sounds like a ringer for Joy Meachum:
JODY, 25 – 30 yrs old, female, Caucasian, highly-educated, logical, compassionate. (Series Regular.)
MCU exchange has it on good authority via an audition tape that this is Joy Meachum, daughter of Harold Meachum – the killer of Iron Fist’s father, Wendell in the comics. Harold himself was later assassinated by Ninja, but regardless Joy blamed Iron Fist for his death and later realized he was not to blame. This is getting good!
Lastly, we have a description that sounds like Ward Meachum – uncle to Joy and brother to Harold:
WALTER, 30 — 35 yrs old, male, Caucasian, intelligent and insecure, brilliant in the office but has a ruthless streak. (Series Regular.)
Like Joy, Ward blamed Iron Fist for Harold’s death but even after it came to light Iron Fist had no involvement – he still maintained his villainous ways. Interesting!
