This weekend marks the three year anniversary of the free-to-play MMO Marvel Heroes, now rebranded Marvel Heroes 2016, and Gazillion Entertainment is celebrating the occasion in style. Starting on Friday, June 3rd, players will be able to participate in festivities both in game and on Twitch.
Friday kicks off with an all-day stream from twitch.tv/MarvelHeroes starting at 11:00am. Gazillion staff will tag-team throughout the day, as they each speak to their roles on the game and answer questions from viewers. Any budding game designers and artists will want to tune into their Q&A for sure.
The in-game celebration begins tomorrow as well, with the return of some of their most popular gameplay events (Midtown Madness and Mystic Mayhem), a server-side boost to experience points, and a few other surprises.
Marvel Heroes 2016 is an action role-playing game using a free-to-play model with micro-transactions built in. The game features more than 50 playable characters and features missions and locations from the across the Marvel Universe.
