This weekend in the legendary Hall H at San Diego Comic Con, Marvel ended the day off with a bang with the official casting announcement of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.
Saturday in Hall H was filled with announcements, trailers, and clips from all corners of the MCU, including appearances from the casts of Black Panther, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It was an exciting way to end the day, and at the close of the Marvel panel, Kevin Feige brought out the “Marvel family,” for a photo with all of the cast members together and at the last minute announced the newest Marvel cast member – Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.
At the announcement of Larson as our newest Captain, the crowd once again went wild as the rest of the Marvel cast members welcomed the newest addition onto the stage to join them for the photo as the new logo for the Captain Marvel film filled the screen.
