MOON KNIGHT #6

Moon Knight #6 is a trippy thrill ride from start to finish. It’s so trippy that I really don’t know what’s going on. Seriously. Issue #6 feels like a completely different comic than the previous issues. Lemire throws another curve ball at readers to continue the trend of making you question what’s real and what’s an illusion. That’s why Moon Knight #6 is such a great comic: it keeps you on your toes. – Christian
Is Moon Knight the best book Marvel is publishing right now? I’m NOT going to say that it isn’t. The book was already great with Greg Smallwood on art, but adding three amazing artists in Torres, Francavilla, and Stokoe to handle different aspects of Moon Knight’s personality was a stroke of genius. This is as close to an indie comic as you’ll find at Marvel, and it is awesome. – John

Silk was far and away my favorite Marvel comic this week, mostly because it was such a fun adventure. It’s been awhile since Cindy has gotten a change to just have fun, so seeing her and her friends tackle dinosaurs and dragons and go slack-jawed at their medieval surroundings was delightful.
More than just providing a good dose of excitement, though, Silk #12 delivered on one of the most important mysteries of the series. Cindy has been searching for her family since she got out of the bunker, and locating her brother only made her more determined to find her parents too. This week marked one of the biggest advancements in making her family – and therefore Cindy herself – whole again. – Tatiana
This week I had a small Marvel haul with only three books: Invincible Iron Man, Silk, and All-New, All-Different Avengers. The Marvel book I enjoyed the most this week was Silk #12. This issue brings Cindy and her friends to the Negative Zone as they search for Cindy’s parents. The tone of the story has a mix of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, and even makes a few references to both franchises.
Silk #12 finally progresses the Moon family plot line that has been introduced since the beginning of Silk Volume 1. The strongest aspects of this issue is when Cindy is growing better bonds with her friends and when the story touches upon the past and present relationship Cindy has with her parents – Kat
SPIDEY #10

A book with Spider-Man, and Captain America without the weight of the All-New, All-Different Marvel on their backs is like an oasis in a desert to me right now. I haven’t been enjoying either of their titles lately liek I want to. But this issue puts a smile on my face and renews my love for these flagship characters. From the timeless story to the classic art, everything about this issue screams awesome. So many fans of Spider-Man feel disconnected from Peter Parker for a few years now, and to them I recommend this title. If you feel like Spider-Man has lost that original feel that made you love the character, Spidey will give you that feeling back and then some. – Jay
