Marvel Costoberfest

Marvel Cosplayers Highlighted During Costoberfest 2016

Marvel announced today that their annual Costoberfest online event is returning in 2016 for the sixth year in a row.  If you’re unfamiliar, Costoberfest is an annual feature on the Marvel.com website that features photos of Marvel cosplayers from around the world.

Every day for the entire month of October, Marvel will feature photos of cosplayers on their social media outlets, as well as Marvel.com.  If you’d like to be considered, send a few of your best cosplay photos to Judy Stephens at [email protected].

If selected, you will be asked to fill out a waiver so that Marvel can use your photo (according with Disney’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy).  Obviously only Marvel costumes will be used, so submit accordingly.  Please credit the photographer in your submissions, as cosplay photographers work hard to make us cosplayers look our best!

In years past, they’ve shared several photos a day, usually with a theme (like Captain America cosplayers one day, Wolverine the next).  The feature used to allow for child cosplayers, but recently the event was changed to ages 13 and up.

Submit your cosplay photos today, and good luck!
