As mentioned above, Spider-Man: Homecoming will now be heading to New York City to continue filming there. According to On Location Vacations, Spider-Man and friends are set to start filming on the 26 of September. Here’s what someone spotted hanging on a pole in NYC:

Since filming began, Spider-Man (and his amazing friends) have been seen in and around the Atlanta area. Now it looks like our favorite wall-crawler is actually headed to the Big Apple. This is an interesting decision. As you know, NYC (actually Queens) is the home of Spider-Man. But filming has largely been centered on places like Atlanta in order to give the upcoming flick a “New York” feel. This is why filming in NYC will certainly give the film more of an authentic feel.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will swing into theaters on July 7, 2017.
