KINGPIN #1
Kat – I don’t know if Kingpin needs an ongoing series, but I am going to try out the first issue.
Tatiana – I am very interested in seeing how Wilson Fisk is going to fare as a legitimate business man, and the noir style promised by Ben Torres is another big plus.
Jessica – Really into the plot line and how it will play out! Also noir style is a HUGE win in my books.
Jay – Kingpin, I hope is better than the Civil War mini.
ELEKTRA #1
Kat – Out of all the new Daredevil related titles this is the number one I’m most excited to read. Sadly the last Elektra ongoing series didn’t last very long, but I’m hoping that this series catches more readers’ attention. I always find stories with Elektra escaping her past interesting. I will definitely be trying out the first issue.
Tatiana – The Netflix Daredevil series made me fall in love with the character, so I’m excited to see what else
Jessica – I love the character so I can’t wait to see a new series with her!
Jay – Elektra is weird seeing they are going with her Netflix costume.
BULLSEYE #1
Kat – I’m glad to see that Marvel announced this as a mini series. This tempts me to get the first issue, knowing that we will have a planned ending for the series.
Jay – Do we really need an expanded Daredevil line? Good to see Bullseye is a mini.
MONSTERS UNLEACHED #2 & 3
Jay – Monsters Unleashed sounds either like a disaster or a fun event.
CHAMPIONS #1.MU
Jay – Out of the M.U. tie-ins I am most looking forward to the Champions tie-in.
INHUMANS V. X-MEN #4 & 5
Jay – I am tired of this already and haven’t even started it yet
UNCANNY X-MEN #18
Blaise – Magneto is a top 5 favorite Marvel character of mine, so I love seeing how he steps into the IvX story, but the plot behind this issue moving forward seems really unique and has the character doing what is necessary for his people, which is why he’s such a compelling character.
Jay – Same thoughts as Inhumans V X-Men.
AVENGERS #4.1
Jay – I LOVED Avengers point one!
AVENGERS #4
Jay – I liked the start of Kang War. Looking forward to both Avengers titles.
UNCANNY AVENGERS #20
Jay – Can this whole Professor X brain in Red Skull’s head be over? It’s been years! Ever since AvX!
OCCUPY AVENGERS #4
Blaise – David F. Walker is one of the top writers out there right now, and he’s been writing characters really well so far, but it’s so much fun to have him controlling a team of such unique heroes. I’m excited to see where he takes this story and like the idea that Walker will be exploring a Nick Fury character.
Jay – I loved the first issue. Clint & Red Wolf have awesome chemistry and add in Nick Fury I am sold!
CAPTAIN AMERICA: STEVE ROGERS #11 & 12
Jay – Interested in seeing Zemo given the ending of the last issue.
CHAMPIONS #5
Kat – It might be interesting to see Gwenpool team up with these young heroes.
Tatiana – Marvel’s young heroes having to team up with Gwenpool? This I’ve got to see. I really enjoyed Gwen clashing with Miles in her series, so I’m ready for Mark Waid’s take on her interactions with the rest of the gang.
Jay – I think Gwenpool here will be hilarious!
THE MIGHTY THOR #16
Kat – It looks like this issue will really bring Jane’s inner and physical strengths to the forefront, which is my favorite type of superhero story!
Jay – Love that they are going into other gods.
THE UNWORTHY THOR #4
Blaise – Odinson has been a really cool character to read without his power, and Aaron has been with the Thor characters for so long that he can do no wrong. Thor has been on an interesting journey so far but putting him back into serious battles will be awesome to read.
Jay – Unworthy Thor started off great can’t wait until I see more of this!
HULK #3
Kat – Can’t wait to read this series!
Tatiana – I’m always onboard for more Mariko Tamaki’s, but I’m even more excited because it sounds like there will be a lot of focus on Jen as a lawyer. Superheroes are wonderful and keep us coming back, but it’s always good to remind readers of the change they can affect as everyday heroes too.
Jessica – Jen has always been a favourite character of mine. Focusing on lawyer Jen is a good play in my books and I think it will be fun for readers.
Jay – Most anticipated so far! I just want this series NOW!!!!!
INFAMOUS IRON MAN #5
Kat – I hope this issue will help me become more invested in this series.
Jay – Finally we need these answers!
INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #4
Kat – I loved the first issue of Invincible Iron Man, and can’t wait to see how Riri’s journey as a hero continues.
Tatiana – The first issue of Riri’s run was amazing, thanks in large part to Stefano Caselli’s art, so there’s no way I’m letting this series go. It sounds like Riri is going to continue grappling with Tony Stark’s legacy, which is a good way to help audiences transition right along with her.
Jessica – Riri is already such a wonderful character and I can’t wait to follow her journey more!
Jay – I still wish this was Ironheart. I need more of Riri not Tony this is supposed to be her book.
THE MIGHTY CAPTAIN MARVEL #2
Jay – Interesting to see Carol be that premiere hero.
THE CLONE CONSPIRACY #5
Kat – I’ve been really surprised by how much I’ve been enjoying this arc so far. Here’s hoping that the conclusion lives up to its set up.
Tatiana – Dying to read the conclusion of this arc, as the set-up has been extraordinary so far. Dan Slott really is the master of crafting Peter Parker stories.
Jay – I hope they deliver a great ending!
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #24

SILK #17
Kat – It seems like Silk’s adventures on the West Coast continue to be very interesting.
Jay – Glad to know the name change is temporary.
PROWLER #5
Kat – Interesting to see Kaine and Spider-Gwen involved in the Prowler series also.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: RENEW YOUR VOWS #4
Kat – I’m excited to see the Parker family have some fun!
Tatiana – Speaking of Peter stories, I’m all about his relationship with Mary Jane, and their daughter Annie has already captured my heart. I was wary about a new series based on this universe because I didn’t think it could rival Slott’s work from last year, but the first issue changed my mind.
Jay – Annie makes this books so much fun! Classic MJ & Peter, something we never got was seeing them raise their child.
SPIDER-MAN #13
Kat – Now that Secret Wars has converted Miles’ story into the 616 universe, Ii will be interesting to see Miles in another universe again.
Jay – After reading the last issue of Spider-Gwen I want her and her MJ to go out. (Kat – Me too!!)
SPIDER-GWEN #17
Kat – Same thoughts as Spider-Man #13.

VENOM #4
Jay – I am so interested in seeing the return of Venom!
MS MARVEL #15
Kat – I hope to see more of Kamala’s supporting characters in this issue. It seems like this can be a great story for both Kamala and Ms Marvel.
Tatiana – Kamala rendered in 8-bit style? Sign me up! The premise of an online community hurting her real life is very interesting, and unfortunately relevant in these times. Looking forward to this one!
Jessica – An online gamer myself this issue is going to strike a chord with me already I can tell. Love when they do something new art wise as well so 8-BIT style will be great!
Jay – How will she deal with this? I am looking forward to seeing how she got into it, who found out and how she fixes it.
MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR #16
Jay – I am still not sure about making her THE smartest person in the 616.
PATSY WALKER AKA HELLCAT #15
Kat – I love stories where heroes get sick, it’s a fun trope. This can be a really fun issue for Patsy.
THE UNSTOPPABLE WASP #2
Kat – I wonder who the smartest girl geniuses will be in this upcoming arc for Wasp.
Jay – I LOVE THIS! I can not wait to see this, usually girls do not team up, or they do just top fight, this celebrates their minds!
GHOST RIDER #4
Blaise – It’s great to have Ghost Rider being incorporated into more properties, and I like the idea that in this issue he will crossover with some awesome Marvel characters. Seems like he will be in a lot of action which is fun.
Tatiana – Ghost Rider’s presence has done wonders for Agents of Shield this season, so I can only hope that the agents will fit into Robbie’s comc just as well!
JESSICA JONES #5
Kat – It looks like Jessica may be on good terms with Luke at this point in the series.
Tatiana – The mystery behind Jessica’s actions so far have been tantalizing, but it sounds like this issue will start to answer some questions, so I look forward to understanding Jessica more and more.
Jessica – ANSWERS PLEASE! Loving the mystery and intrigue but also dying to know everything! Can’t wait for this one.
Jay – Still not sure about this title yet.
THUNDERBOLTS #10
Jay – I loved the original Thunderbolts looking forward to this 20th anniversary issue.
POWER MAN AND IRON FIST #15
Kat –I’m glad that the events from the Jessica Jones series are finally affecting the events in Power Man and Iron Fist.
Blaise – This book has been phenomenal so far and David F. Walker seems to understand the core of these characters. There has been a ton of awesome development so far and this issue looks like it’s going to bring out some new character traits from Luke and Danny.
Tatiana – Anxious and excited to see how the two stories will line up.Also hoping that this series will manage to keep its lighter tone despite the struggles Luke will be going through without Jessica.
DAREDEVIL #17
Kat – I put Daredevil off my pull list awhile ago because of the series’ new direction and dropped plot lines from Wade’s run, but I might pick up this issue to get the missing pieces of the story from Wade to Soule’s run.
Blaise – Soule is another top writer for Marvel currently and he has been doing a nice job with his Daredevil book. The opening story was great but it looks like thing are about to get a little more personal and get into analyzing the decisions Matt has made recently.
MOON KNIGHT #11
Blaise – Lemire has been taking Moon Knight to really cool places in this story and has kept things confusing and crazy. With Marc operating on his own, this book is about to get even more unique.
Jay – Stop the psyche study get to some real Moon Knight stories now.
HAWKEYE #3
Kat – I’m excited to see Kate in a college setting to solve this case.
Jay – Sounds like Kate Bishop meets Veronica Mars.
NOVA #3
Blaise – Richard Rider and Sam Alexander, the dynamic duo? I love the idea that Rider will struggle finding his place and I want to see his relationship with Sam develop into a really cool place.
Jay – Can’t wait to see how this plays out and how they play off each other.
ALL NEW WOLVERINE #17
Jay – This story is so great right now can not wait for more of it.
DARTH MAUL #1
Kat – It’s great that Marvel is making a Darth Maul mini series. As we wait for Episode 8, Star Wars and Marvel should utilize this time to expand the stories not tied into Episode 8. This way there is no-holds-barred!
Blaise – Darth Maul is a certified BAMF and it’s gonna be super fun to explore the character in his own series!
POE DAMERON #11
Blaise – Soule has been really giving this book an awesome feel and it has added so much to Poe as a character as well as his team, Black Squadron. There is so much story surrounding this character and it will be fun to continue reading.
