RUMOR – Did X-Men: New Mutants Director Confirm Maisie Williams As Wolfsbane?

Arya Stark is a popular Game of Thrones character – largely thanks to Maisie Williams’s talent. We’ve watched the 19 year old actress grow up on screen and while Game of Thrones can’t last forever, rumors about what will happen to the Stark kids abound, Maisie for her part has been circling New Mutants as the scottish mutant wolfsbane.  There’s no official confirmation yet, but the evidence keeps stacking up.

The most recent piece of information is this tweet from Director Josh Boone.  Tagging someone in a piece of artwork really only happens if a person has a huge connection to a character.  This piece of artwork is gorgeous.

I would absolutely love to be a part of it, [and] to be a part of the Marvel family,New Mutants looks absolutely incredible and I’ve always loved the idea of spin-offs and [director] Joshua Boone is incredibly talented. So, yeah, sign me up.”

We know for sure that Wolfsbane will be in it comingsoon.net posted an exclusive animatic  that includes magik, lockheed the dragon, and wolfsbane the mutant herself, as well as the Demon Bear- the primary antagonist for the film.    While there are no confirmations quite yet, this animatic is very exciting.  It offers some really cool concepts and ideas making New Mutants a must see series.
