Infinity War is shaping up to shake things up in the MCU from the news that The Guardians and Avengers, Avengers: Infinity War is being set up to be a game changer. They’ve put everyone (or close to everyone) currently working at Marvel studios on the project. We have yet to get news on some new characters though, or some news on the enemies our favorite Avengers will be fighting. That appears to have changed however. According to The Hollywood Reporter, noted motion capture actor Terry Notary revealed that he’s got a role in the big Marvel Studios crossover.
According to Notary, his character is “Truly Evil” before dropping a big hint as to just what he might be doing in the MCU.
“I’m working on four characters right now. I’m working with Josh Brolin and three other actors, and I’m playing Josh Brolin’s right hand bad guy in the film.”
According to Marvel history, Thanos has had a few followers. In fact, fans of Marvel’s Tsum Tsum Game might remember that Proxima Midnight and Corvius Glaive both made an appearance recently in game during the Thanos Invasion. They’re a part of “The Black Order” from a comics event created by Jonathan Hickman, Jim Cheung, Jerome Opena, Dustin Weaver, Mike Deodato, and Leinil Francis Yu.
Midnight and Glaive are a part of something called “The Black Order” who apparently work as Thanos’s right hand men. They’re joined by Ebony Maw, and Black Dwarf, and according to Notary’s hints it appears that as Thanos’s “right hand man” we might be seeing Corvus Glaive, Thanos’s lieutenant brought to the screen.
This is the first word of Notary’s casting. He’s also playing Groot according to IMDB. It’s important to take all of tis with a grain of salt as nothing is officially until Marvel says it is, but it offers some very intriguing rumors. Could Hickman and Cheung’s “Black Order” appear in Infinity War? Only time will tell.
