Tony Stark and Peter Parker have a great father and son dynamic that’s been teased repeatedly by both actors and promotional material. The biggest surprise of the evening was that after the events of Captain America: Civil War that dynamic appeared to be in trouble.
#SpiderManHomecoming footage was pretty good. Stark takes away Peter's suit, which is a fun way to shake things up. #CinemaCon

So what do we know? We know Peter Parker’s headstrong behavior will be getting him into trouble and that Iron Man will be “tested” as well. Tony has never been very good at being a father figure (probably because his own was so distant) and it appears like his past might have caught up with him. He’ll need to face his own demons as well.

Finally, Keaton’s Vulture takes on more of a spotlight – something that villain fans might be very excited about. Keaton was also featured in a new interview this week, where he discussed how he approached playing the role.

This trailer isn’t the only good news Marvel and Sony have treated fans to this month. A proposed Venom film will continue to develop a shared Sony Marvel Universe and Sable and Black Cat will be getting their own spin-off film as well.
