Wow! Today is the day for news that keeps on giving! Freeform has released a trailer for it’s Cloak and Dagger television series. With a pilot directed by Gina Prince Blythwood, the super heroic Romeo and Juliet at last have a look. From the look of the series, Tandy and Tyrone are going to be getting a few rewrites as far as their origin story goes. Instead of injecting themselves with experimental heroin it would appear that there’s a car accident involved and that Tandy and Tyrone have known each other for far longer then just meeting each other in New York City as runaways. It was nice to see that Tandy and Tyrone both have chemistry too, Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph were magnetic on screen.
Everything in the series looks incredible and sharp eyed marvel fans will notice a “Roxxon Corporation” easter egg from Agent Carter making an appearance. We even got a look at their logo featuring Tandy’s daggers and Tyrone’s cloaked figure. What does it all mean? February can’t come soon enough. Check out the trailer below and be sure to share with us exactly what you think about Tandy and Tyrone’s adventures, not to mention staying put to The Marvel Report for all the updated Cloak and Dagger news.
