Marvel Heroes has always been that game that I wanted to try but never could due to time as well as hardware limitations. Once I heard Marvel Heroes Omega was right around the corner I became excited. Well, today Omega’s closed beta opens up for anyone to play. That is if you have a Playstation 4. Lead Designer Ben “TheArtofRawr” Gilbert sat down with Marvel.com to discuss the big news.
In the interview, Gilbert talks about how the team has been enjoying the buzz the game has been getting on platforms like YouTube and Twitch as well as stories about the couch co-op feature for the console versions. He also talks a bit about the prologue and how new players will get to test out a few heroes before going into the main story of the game.
The biggest thing that was announced was the beta release date for the Xbox One console set for June 20th. At the moment you can only play this on PC or on PS4 so having this date set for my console of choice makes me happy. I’ve been itching to try this game since it was announced and now I will.
The last thing is that they released a trailer announcing the open beta. Check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.
