The Walt Disney Company honored Stan Lee and Jack Kirby at the D23 Expo by making them Disney Legends. Marvel in turn is honoring Expo goers with a booth, a look at future films, new gaming info, and much much more. Photos of Marvel’s booth made the rounds on twitter last night, and so far we’re VERY excited as it includes detailed looks at the Black Panther costumes, information about Thor: Ragnarok, and a massive statue that gives us our first real look at Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. There’s also upcoming clothing lines, make-up, and more being planned. Let’s take a look at what we’ve seen so far!

First up is an official look at the booth itself and some great statues of Thanos and apparently what he’ll look like in Avengers: Infinity War. The Josh Brolin played character will apparently be a massive presence and if the character has a full costume and an outfit, could we see him possibly do battle with the characters? The comics feature everyone from Spider-Man to Captain America getting a whack at the Mad Titan. Thanos’ quest for the Infinity Gauntlet is going to be AMAZING and if he’s here could we see a potential Avengers: Infinity War trailer?
The other big feature at the convention is a full line up of the costumes from the highly anticipated Black Panther film. After the Entertainment Weekly photos were released, Disney is making a smart choice in doubling down on the film and it’s marketing. Aren’t these costumes amazing?

Disney and Black Panther have both appeared at Essence fest, a music festival based around the celebration of Black Women, and they’ll hopefully appear at the San Diego Comic Con as well. It looks like Marvel brought multiple posters and each one of the main characters costumes to the convention for fans. Will we get new Black Panther footage during Disney’s live action panel on Saturday? One can only hope!

There’s also Marvel inspired costumes from Her Universe, an entire booth dedicated to gaming, and a Q&A with Andy Park, the head of visual development for Marvel. Park revealed a look at the upcoming film logos for Marvel as well as a collection of new visual art for films like Ant Man and The Wasp. Awesome!

TV Fun
Fans of Marvel’s Television Universe, fear not. Ghost Rider’s (Gabriel Luna) Hell Charger and Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) beloved Lola also made an appearance. The cast of Agents of SHIELD is currently revving up for season 5 of the television series. The Inhumans are also on hand to promote the upcoming show with special Lockjaw pins. We want one!
