It appears that X-Men: Dark Phoenix has added two more names to it’s ever growing cast in addition to possibly a few more returning characters. According to That Hashtag Show, the Simon Kinberg directed film will feature newcomer Kota Eberhardt as “Luna”. This is very likely a code name for another character, so we’re going to have to wait and see what her actual role at a later time. They also go on to report that the film will feature Scott Sheperd (Jason Bourne) in the role of Jean Grey’s father.
Additionally, it seems that two minor Days Of Future Past characters could be returning in the next installment in the X-Men franchise. The site reports that actors Evan Jonigkeit and Gregg Lowe, who played Toad and Ink in the 2014 film, are in talks to return in those roles. It’s rumored that Magneto may be forming the Brotherhood Of Mutants in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and the addition of these two might add a bit of fuel to that fire. Could we see these two as members of the group? Or does Ink’s Phoenix tattoo indicate that he has another role to play? Let us know your thoughts on the above in the comments section below.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters on November 2, 2018.
