We were first introduced to Emily VanCamp’s Agent 13 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and then saw her again in last year’s Captain America: Civil War. But what does the future hold for Sharon Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Whiile speaking with Deadline, VanCamp replied when asked that she currently has “No idea” as far as an appearance in either Avengers: Infinity War or it’s upcoming sequel. And at this point in, it seems pretty unlikely that we will be seeing the character make an appearance in either film.
However, could we see an Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. appearance in Sharon Carter’s future? While VanCamp didn’t have a definite answer for that one, it seems that there were actually discussions about her character making an appearance but things didn’t quite line up.
“I think it was discussed, but I was working on Revenge at the time.”
