While the audience response to Marvel’s Iron Fist was much kinder than the critics, one common complaint among nearly everyone was the quality of the series’ fight sequences. Even as someone who loved the series himself, I can definitely agree that there was some room for improvement in that department. Word was the reasoning for this was due series star Finn Jones only had a short amount of time to prepare for the series. Well, it looks like we can definitely expect an improvement on that aspect in season two based on Jones recent comments while speaking with Inverse.
“Now, just gonna let you know, moving into Season 2 of Iron Fist, I’m actually starting my training next week. We’re at least four or five months away from shooting, so this time around, I’m being given a lot more preparation leading up to Season 2, which I think is really gonna have a huge improvement on the quality of the fight scenes in Iron Fist.”
Additionally, based on these comments, it is sounding like we can expect the show to hit Netflix sometime in late 2018 or early 2019. Do Jones comments have you more pumped up for the second season of Iron Fist? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
