It’s crazy to think that we’re less than a year out from Avengers: Infinity War finally hitting theaters. It’s been a long journey but we’re finally going to get to see what the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building to since introducing the villainous Thanos in 2012. While we’re excited as fans for the film, we aren’t the only ones. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Thanos actor Josh Brolin called the film the “most fun” he’s ever had as well as commenting on the little bit of footage that he’s seen. It appears that the actor was pretty impressed with it.
“I love doing Avengers, it’s maybe the most fun I’ve ever had…I just saw a little snippet of it, and it was amazing. The cutting-edge technology of what they’re doing — what I’ve seen is absolutely mind-blowing. When I saw it on screen, it was me, but also not like me. It’s really strange.”
While some (including myself) have been lucky enough to see some footage from Infinity War at D23 & San Diego Comic-Con, it’s likely still going to be a bit before we see an official trailer released to the general public. The safe bet is on sometime in October, ahead of Thor: Ragnarok’s theatrical release overseas. Let us know what you’re most excited about and think of Brolin’s comments in the section below.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
