Tickets went on sale this morning for the God Of Thunder’s upcoming third outing and it’s looking like Thor: Ragnarok is sizing up to majorly lay the hammer down at the Fall box office. In a new Fandango poll for the “Most Anticipated Fall Movies”, which polled more than 1,000 movie fans, the Taika Waititi directed film took the top spot in regards to which films audiences are most excited about seeing.

Additionally, series star Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, and Cate Blanchett also received top spots in most anticipated actor and actress categories. While it’s on the lower side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s box office totals, 2013’s Thor: The Dark World grossed a solid $644M worldwide. With fans eagerly anticipating the next entry and the addition of the Green Goliath, there’s no doubt that the next film with greatly surpass that total.
