While details regarding the film have been kept heavily under wraps, director Simon Kinberg did take to Instagram to reveal that principal photography wrapped on the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Following that, we’ve got a new image from the set of the film featuring one of the clappers used during production. While this isn’t a huge deal, the image does reveal that Academy Award winning cinematographer Mauro Fiore worked on the next installment in the franchise.
Fiore won the Oscar in 2010 for his work on James Cameron’s Avatar and has since gone on to work on films such as Training Day, Smokin’ Aces and The Equalizer. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long to learn who is scoring the film. You can check out the tweet featuring the image of the clapper below and let us know what you think about this news in the comments section afterwards.
