Get ready for a reunion between the Heroes for Hire! EW has confirmed that Finn Jones will be showing up in Luke Cage Season 2 as Danny Rand a.k.a. Iron Fist. The website also revealed the first look at the two Defenders reunited.
Marvel wouldn’t reveal any specific details on what Iron Fist will be up to when he shows up the Power Man’s show. It was previously revealed that Misty Knight (Simone Missick) would be getting her robot arm like in the comics. Could Danny’s visit have something to do with that? Only time will tell.
The new season will feature a few new faces too, with Mustafa Shakir as John McIver a.k.a. Bushmaster and Gabrielle Dennis as Tilda Johnson a.k.a. Nightshade. Netflix has yet to announce when Season 2 will be coming out, but expect to see Luke Cage back on your screen in 2018.
With New York Comic-Con coming up this weekend and with Marvel TV having such a large presence, maybe a surprise date will be revealed. The season two premiere was directed by Elementary’s very own Lucy Liu.
