Wilson Bethel Joins Daredevil Season 3

The cast of Season 3 of Marvel’s Daredevil continues to expand. Variety revealed today that Hart of Dixie’s Wilson Bethel is joining the third season of the hit Marvel-Netflix drama. Bethel will be appearing as a series regular in a mysterious role that is teased as an FBI agent.

This character will, according to Variety, play a very critical role in the major conflict between Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio). Our friends at That Hashtag Show revealed earlier that Daredevil was casting a mysterious FBI character that does potentially fit with Bethel’s character.

“[STEVE]  28-35, 5’9-6’1, Open ethnicity. An athletic but socially awkward FBI Agent, needs structure and rules to suppress the darkness inside himself. Athletic with medium build, responsible and resourceful, hair trigger temper. SERIES REGULAR”

THS speculated that “Steve” could be none other than Stanley Carter a.k.a. Sin-Eater. But only time will tell who Bethel is playing. This marks as the second big Hart of Dixie superhero casting news for 2017 as Bethel’s co-star Cress Williams is set to headline the new Black Lightning TV series for The CW.
