Avengers 4 20 Years

Marvel Studios Has Plans For 20 “Completely Different” Films After Avengers 4

Hard to believe that the time is actually almost here. It’s all led to this and we’re roughly only six months away from Avengers: Infinity War finally hitting theaters. Who would have really believed this would be happening after Nick Fury came out of the shadows and said those magical words after the credits of the first Iron Man film?

But while these next two Avengers films are the culmination of everything so far, it’s definitely not even close to the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Speaking with Vanity Fair, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige reveals that the studio already has plans where the MCU will go after the fourth Avengers film and they have twenty films already in development which seemingly are going to be something different than many might be expecting.

“22 movies in, and we’ve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that’s come before—intentionally.”

While he wouldn’t give any details regarding what to expect in the future, Feige did say that the fourth Avengers film will “bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale.”

“There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”

For the time being, we can only speculate about what the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will look like. Obviously we’ve got a third Guardians Of The Galaxy and sequels to films like Doctor Strange on deck. But what which of the original Avengers will be leaving and who might stay? There’s been lots of talk about expanding the cosmic side but what else could the studio have up their sleeve? There’s a lot of questions to be asked but we’re going to have to wait and see.
