Arrow Showrunner On Chances For Arrowverse/Titans Crossover

It should come as no surprise that DC TV fans really want to see Titans crossover with The CW’s Arrowverse (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow). Marc Guggenheim, who is the showrunner on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, was recently asked at ACE Comic-Con if there will be any crossovers at all.

While the idea doesn’t necessarily get shut down, the showrunner has no involvement with Titans so he couldn’t really confirm or deny whether that will ever happen. Here’s what Guggenheim had to say:

“Great question, again, above my pay grade,” Guggenheim replied. “I will say this, the one thing I’ve learned is ‘never say never.’ I could not begin to tell you how often we say to each other, ‘We never thought any of this was going to happen. We never thought we’d see all these characters. We never thought there’d be a universe. So, never say never, but in terms of which characters be on which shows, what’s part of the universe, above my paygrade and probably that’s a good thing.”

This comes after Manu Bennett, who plays Deathstroke in the Arrowverse, said that he didn’t know either about any crossovers. While it hasn’t been specifically stated, the chances of crossovers are probably going to be low, to begin with.

While all of them are filming in Canada, Titans are in Toronto and the Arrowverse ones are in Vancouver. Practically and even logistically it would be quite challenging, similarly to Black Lightning filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Titans explores one of the most popular comic book teams ever. It follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.”
