As you probably know by now, with previous casting breakdowns that friends like That Hashtag Show have revealed, these character names are 99% likely to be just code names. Check out the character breakdown below!

“[EVAN LOGUE]: Male, Late 30s-40s, Caucasian. Charismatic. A cult leader attempting to reunite his family. Central role for series finale. RECURRING GUEST STAR. Please submit star/cameo names. Casting early for wardrobe but the role works Ep. 111 (04/09-04/19) and Ep. 112 (04/19 – 05/01)”

We at Titans Podcast believe “EVAN LOGUE” may potentially be none other than DC Comics’ very own Trigon! It might be a while until we get casting news on this character, given that the chosen actor would shoot his episodes in mid-April to early-May 2018.
Trigon coming to the show would be a big deal for many reasons. For starters, the sadistic DC demon has been one of the Teen Titans’ main baddies for years. Another reason he’s a big deal is that he is the biological father of Rachel Roth a.k.a. Raven, one of the core members! When Teagan Croft was cast as Raven, the official description for her character immediately teased her bond to Trigon as “the daughter of a demon,” saying she “is a powerful empath who must keep her emotions in check or risk unleashing her demonic side.”

Created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, Trigon made his first appearance in The New Teen Titans #2 back in February 1981 that relaunched the beloved group of heroes. Should this be Trigon who Titans is casting, this will mark the live-action appearance of Raven’s father. Arella, Raven’s biological mother, was tricked as she fell in love with Trigon who revealed his true self the night Raven was conceived.

Trigon has appeared in animation several times, from the original Teen Titans animated series, Teen Titans Go, and recently Teen Titans: The Last Judas Contract. It would make a lot of sense for the series to be casting Trigon, especially if he aims to go after Raven, hence the “reuniting his family” part in the breakdown.

We also know the series is casting Arella, so perhaps Trigon’s arc in these episodes will be about getting the family back for his evil plans. If Trigon isn’t who they’re casting, “EVAN LOGUE” could potentially be Brother Blood, who is the leader of Church of Blood, a cult that is all about killing Trigon. Let us know in the comments below what you think of Trigon potentially coming to the highly anticipated DC series!
