Doom Patrol Confirmed To Appear On Titans By Geoff Johns

The Doom Patrol is coming to Titans! Geoff Johns, one of the executive producers, confirmed today on his Twitter page that the fifth episode will feature the group as the episode is appropriately titled “The Doom Patrol”.

A few months ago, it was reported by our friends at That Hashtag Show that a recurring character by the name “Jennifer Andrews” was being cast. As speculated, “Jennifer” was believed to be none other than Elasti-Girl, a member of said group.

With the confirmation from Johns of the group’s arrival, this might support the case that it was indeed Elasti-Girl they were casting. “The Doom Patrol”, which will be directed by Orphan Black co-creator/director John Fawcett, was written by Johns himself.

It remains to be seen what members will actually show up. Beast Boy (who will be played by Ryan Potter) is a member of that group in the comics. What members do you hope to see in the episode? Sound off in the comments below.
