It’s a brand new year, meaning that new seasons of Marvel TV is on its way, and we are starting with the Netflix side of things. While the premiere date has yet to be formally announced, Netflix has released a new synopsis for the upcoming second season of The Punisher, starring Jon Bernthal back in the role as Frank Castle.
In addition to that, they have also debuted a new teaser which you can see below along with the new synopsis.
“Former
marine-turned-vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has been living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes embroiled in the attempted murder of a young girl (Giorgia Whigham). As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embracea life as “The Punisher.”
Marvel’s The Punisher, starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, Jason R. Moore as Curtis, Josh Stewart as John Pilgrim, Floriana Lima as Dr. Krista Dumont, Annette O’Toole as Eliza Schultz and Corbin Bensen as Anderson Schultz, is reportedly debuting on January 18, exclusively on Netflix.
