Chris Pratt has confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be going into production with a draft of the script penned by James Gunn. Fans have been waiting with bated breath as to the fate of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise when director James Gunn came under fire last year for a series of offensive tweets. The controversy was so severe that Disney/Marvel made the decision to remove Gunn as director for the next installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy film.
Now, in an interview with Josh Horowitz of MTV News, Chris Pratt confirmed that Disney/Marvel will definitely be going forward with the latest sequel to the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Not only that, but the film will also be utilizing James Gunn’s script despite Gunn no longer taking the helm as director. Pratt seems to be very enthusiastic about Gunn’s script and is looking forward to delivering Vol 3 to fans.
