If you loved the Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, then you’ll most likely celebrate this news. Deadline is reporting that Phil Lord and Chris Miller have signed on for a “mega” deal with Sony Pictures Television that will include “a suite” of Spider-Man Universe TV series.
According to the trade, it was the Spider-Man property that was the major selling point for the duo to sign on for the deal, now that they have concluded a 9-year long working relationship with 20th Century Fox TV. Through their new deal with Sony Pictures TV, Lord and Miller will also be developing live-action dramas and comedies.
