While the X-Men will be rebooted once they join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the FOX version of the mutants still have one final chapter to be told. After almost two years of delays, Josh Boone’s New Mutants has been pushed back time after time due to reshoots and Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century FOX. It remains to be seen when the MCU version of the mutants makes their way into the ongoing mega-franchise by Kevin Feige.
But on April 3, fans will be able to truly go on one last ride with the FOX Marvel Cinematic Universe. Today a brand new trailer was released for New Mutants, making it the first trailer released since the 2017 teaser footage.
20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
