Avatar: The Last Airbender is getting another attempt at live-action, and we fans are hoping for it to stick the landing. Fans are patiently waiting for the arrival of the series on February 22nd on Netflix. So far, the previous trailer, and images have gotten fans’ hopes up. Could this be the live-action adaptation we deserve? Let’s not talk about the last attempt, that film doesn’t exist in Ba Sing Se. We now have a new trailer to check out and analyze.

A live-action adaptation of the beloved Nickelodeon animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, and Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.
Fans of the animated series already know what to expect. It was unfortunate the original creators left this project some years back, so that is concerning. Creative differences were the reason why, and we will see what those are pretty soon. One that we know of is the inclusion of Fire Lord Ozai, who originally was hidden in the shadows is openly shown in the marketing so far.
