Sony Pictures Presents a Strong Line-Up Into 2028 with The Beatles, Spider-Man and More

Sony Pictures kicked off CinemaCon 2025 in the best way possible: with lots of Spider-related news, and an innovative way to entice more folks back to the theaters.

CinemaCon is always a good time, but this Monday night presentation was spectacular in a surprising way. We got directors of several films, excitedly talking about their projects. Nia DaCosta, in particular, was a joy to watch as she talked about her film, “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple.”

We, of course, got tiny peeks at the exciting new chapter of Miles Morales’ story, “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” (in theaters June 4, 2027) and a title and release date for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which is coming July 31, 2026.
