Warner Bros. Pictures Features an Impressive Slate at CinemaCon with ‘Superman’, ‘F1’

Tuesday, April 1, Warner Bros. brought their distinctive line-up to the Colosseum including exciting looks at Warner Bros. Animation, New Line Cinema, and DC Studios.

The hype has been high for Warner Bros. in particular, with James Gunn’s “Superman” and the new look at “F1,” starring Brad Pitt. The presentation did not disappoint whatsoever. There was a gruesome sneak peek at “Final Destination: Bloodlines,” that had the entire audience groaning and shrieking in horror.

The most surprising delight of the panel was “The Bride!,” directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, starring Jessie Buckley as the titular bride of Frankenstein and Christian Bale as Frankenstein’s monster. The Bonnie and Clyde-style film is set to release March 6, 2026. Gyllenhaal remarked that the Tuesday presentation was the one-year anniversary of when they first started filming.

Our exclusive look at “One Battle After Another” drew us in immediately, because even though it was a bit confusing to witness, having a cast like Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, and Teyana Taylor (all were present on stage) feels very reassuring. The film is produced, written, and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

But the biggest buzz was for “Superman.” David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult joined James Gunn and Peter Safran on stage. They gave us an extended peek at the beloved Krypto and Superman scene from the teaser trailer

It was incredible to see the super-pup and his super-dad feel like a real dog and his owner. The scene was especially fun to watch after Gunn shared a hilarious story about his own adopted dog, Ozu, who had a penchant for toe-biting. “Superman” and his crew fly into theaters July 11, 2025.
