Great news for the fans of the show looks like our favorite rag tag space team is coming back in 2017. EW was the first to break the news.
Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, programming and general manager of Disney XD went on to say “We’re pleased to give fans a new season of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, taking them deeper into the Guardian’s universe.” He continued with “The team at Marvel Animation continues to deliver great stories that capture the tone and spirit of the feature film and provide entirely new chapters to the Guardians of the Galaxy story.”
What’s in store? Well season 2 will have the Guardians and the Avengers teaming up to take down The High Evolutionary, but also they find an ancient weapon that could easily destroy everything they hold dear.
