A-FORCE #9

A-Force continues to be one of the best titles tying into Civil War 2. There are many Marvel titles that tie into the event that feel repetitive and unnecessary, but A-Force offers something new to the table.
Civil War 2 is about the clashing of characters’ ideologies tearing the superhero community apart. A-Force shows that disagreements can make a team stronger. They are actually able to talk about their problems! A-Force #9 is a great character building issue not only in the context of the A-Force series, but also for the Civil War 2 event as a whole. – Kat
MOCKINGBIRD #7

This series as a whole has been very strong, but the issues that deal with Bobbi’s past and interpersonal relationships stand out the most. Chelsea Cain’s blend of humor and heart make Bobbi incredibly relatable, and make the raised stakes seem more believable.
The events of Civil War II created an exciting mystery for Bobbi and Hunter to solve, and the re-introduction of an important figure from her past leaves readers with plenty of questions. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes next! – Tatiana
OLD MAN LOGAN #11

SCARLET WITCH #10

This series continues to be a great read and an amazing look into Wanda as a character. Despite being a little quiet in its content, issue 10 still highlights Wanda’s journey. Kei Zama’s art turns the issue into a manga spectacular, something that must be seen.
Civil War II left Wanda not wanting a part in this fight. Focusing on her continuous hunt for a cure to the sickness of witchcraft, Wanda’s journey keeps readers on the edge. Can’t wait to see what next issue brings for the Scarlet Witch! – Jessica
SPIDER-MAN #8

Things are finally getting interesting for Miles and I love it! I mean, more so than previous issues. After an unexpected rooftop meet up with Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, Miles gets told what readers all been saying for a while now: he needs to be more careful with his secret identity. Moreover, he needs to figure out his place in the ongoing superhero battle.
I feel like this issue, more than the other Civil War II tie-ins, more directly addresses the toll the ongoing battle is taking on our heroes. The young heroes’ reaction to everything that’s happening are written in a realistic way that really adds tension. I can’t wait to see where Miles’ story goes from here. – Christian
