Winter has fallen at Avengers Academy but something seems off about it. Odin warns you that the Casket of Ancient Winters has been opened causing a never ending winter. He also points out that the A-Force has been captured and that you need to free them to help you in the fight against Malekith and his Dark Elves and Frost Giants.
We are quickly introduced to Thor, no not the Thor that is already up for early purchase but the other Thor (Jane Foster I think?) Loki and guy Thor are shocked at this. Now to unlock her you will need to go through the introductory quests and then you will need 8 Winged Helmets (Collect from the Throne of Asgard), 10 Silver Ornaments (Ride a Sleigh-Cycle!), 90 Medical Degrees (Special Event Missions), and 2800 Odin Treasures or a lot of Infinity Shards if you’re impatient.
She does come with an unlockable costume that you need to get by the end of the episode before it disappears and that is the Paladin Thor Costume which is unlocked by getting 100 Maps of Asgard from the Ancient Chests.
The other character introduced is a Premium Character and that is She-Hulk! She’s available for 545 Infinity Shards and can immediately start fighting Frost Giants. Also, she increases the amount of Ancient Keys you get from the Mission Board.
And the final tidbit for this update is a costume for Iron Man, I mean what event doesn’t start with a costume for one of the veteran students? Well, Tony gets to help Odin out in this case as he gets a Blacksmith outfit for the event. And yes he is technically shirtless with this outfit on. Also, he totally calls Odin out as being Santa, just saying. So far this event has been live for about a day or so and already it is making me laugh way too much
