Stephen Moyer Cast in Fox X-Men Show

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Stephen Moyer (True Blood) has been cast in Matt Nix’s X-Men series. Stephen Moyer will star in the series that follows parents trying to protect their mutant child from the government by going to underground mutant networks. Stephen has been cast as Reed, an attorney who’s trying to find a balance between the duties of D.A. work and duties to his family.

We reported previously that Jamie Chung and Blair Redford have been cast in the X-Men series that Matt Nix is the show runner and executive producer of. The pilot episode is set to be directed by Bryan Singer, who is no stranger to working on X-Men related properties. He’s directed a couple of X-Men films for the Fox-Marvel film universe.

Jeph Loeb, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner, and Jim Chory are also executive producers on this show. Marvel Television as well as 20th Century Fox will also be in association for producing.

The series will take place in the same universe as the X-Men film universe. However , Matt Nix has stated that the series is set up to side step questions such as where is Wolverine and Magneto, etc.

The Fox X-Men drama is still untitled, and the series is assumed to be a part of the 2017-2018 fall line up.
